Dickerson & Gibbons was founded by legal pioneer M. Ashley Dickerson (1912-2007) over 60 years ago. In 1948 she became the first African American female attorney in the State of Alabama and in 1959 the first African American attorney in the State of Alaska.
Meet The Team
The firm’s rich legacy is now nurtured by Johnny O. Gibbons who came to the firm in 1984 and Stephanie White Thorn who has been with the firm since 2013.
